About US

The UKSCE stands as a groundbreaking initiative forged from a collaborative effort between The National Skills Academy for Rail (NSAR), UK Skills Federation, and the Chinese Government. This partnership is backed by the Centre of Schooling Development Program (CSDP) of the Ministry of Education of China, and the UK Department of International Trade (DIT), encompassing various industries such as rail, construction, sport, social care, IT, health, and financial services. Within the realm of Vocational Education, UKSCE has proudly established a comprehensive system for vocational education in universities and colleges.

It has rigorously overseen the translation and revision of 134 textbooks across 13 subjects. Thirty-eight universities have confidently adopted the SQA HND qualification, with a total of 38000 students successfully graduating since 2006, and 15000 students presently excelling within the program.

This project reigns as the largest in Chinese education and continues to demonstrate remarkable progress. In the year 2018, CSDP and UKSCE proudly unveiled a joint program - the Skills Hub for Belt & Road Initiatives, offering a broad spectrum of services to educational institutes around the globe. Notably, there have been over 50 applications for membership, reinforcing its value. This initiative proves immensely valuable to educational institutions and local governments, delivering an array of new educational products and expertise, through profound collaborations with esteemed brands including Pearson Group, Beijing Institute of Technology, and NSAR.
